Educating the 'whole' child for more than 80 years
The Child Development Center has been serving children of Greater Indianapolis for more than eight decades. Built upon the laurels of value based education, high family involvement, and cutting edge experiences the center has touched the lives of thousands of children. Flanner House Child Development Center obtained its NAEYC accreditation in November 2005 which distinguishes us with a very select group of preschools throughout the country. The center is licensed by the State of Indiana.
Among our accreditation, and accomplishments:

- CDA certified and degreed teachers
- Paths to Quality Level 3
- Implementation of the “CREATIVE CURRICULUM”
- Integration of the Foundations “Indiana Academic Standards for Young Children”
- KDG 2005/2006 highest statewide scores on Dibels diagnostic test

We cater to employed parents and those who are enrolled in an accredited educational program. Enrollment begins at age three and extends to age twelve. A sliding fee scale is used to determine the weekly cost. We also accept CCDF and offer other tuition assistance programs.
